The Faction Motorsports power steering cooler kit was designed to be used for SR20 and KA24DE engines. This is meant to be a bolt in kit that requires no serious modifications, it even reuses the stock DOHC/SR20 power steering reservoir.
We designed this kit as an all inclusive package to do a complete overhaul on your power steering system. This includes: replacing old or incorrect rack fittings with the best ones in the industry, relocating the OEM reservoir to a cooler location that is out of the way of turbos and intake systems, replacing all lines in the system with quality hoses that are easy to keep clean, converting to AN fittings which are reliable and easy to service, one of the leading cooler choices in the industry - KOYO, and retaining the OEM power steering reservoir which has worked flawlessly for us for years of hard drifting abuse. We believe highly in the old saying of "if it ain't broke, why change it?", which is why we focused on only replacing the parts that are necessary.
Our kit allows you to relocate your power steering reservoir to our favorite location, FAR AWAY from the turbo in the corner of the bay! This is an OPTION however, because this kit can also be installed with the reservoir in the FACTORY location on the strut tower and just requires shortening of x2 hoses.
Designed for SR20 and KA24DE engines. These power steering setups are identical and our kit will bolt up to them, if you are using our kit with any other engine setup, it will have to be customized to work correctly and we will not be able to warranty anything. Install at your own risk!
We also include DEI fire sleeve to help protect the lines from excessive turbo heat.
